The Salzburger Sparkasse Fanningberg Trail is the most challenging route, covering 44 kilometers and 2,315 meters of elevation gain, and starts in Mauterndorf.
Since 2026, this competition can also be completed as a relay race, requiring at least two people, ideally three. The sections vary in distance and elevation gain and can be divided up according to the strength of the relay team members. A shuttle service will be provided for relay team members; the respective travel times will be listed in the shuttle schedule in good time. A handover between sections is mandatory and must be clearly marked.
