The La Sportiva Panoramatrail is 10 kilometers long and has an elevation gain of 550 meters. It offers a varied route and impressive views. The ascent to the Preberhalterhütte runs along single trails and forest paths through the Preberwald forest. After the first refreshment station, the high trail leads to the Grazer Hütte, from where the view of the Prebergipfel is impressive. Then it's downhill via single trails and hiking trails to the main road and on to Lake Preber. The last few meters lead along the lake to the finish at the Ludlalm.

This “competition” is ideal for anyone who wants to take it easy and is also great for families with kids, club outings, or a fun trip with friends.

There is no timekeeping and therefore no scoring in the HIKE competition. At the finish, all hikers receive a certificate and a finisher's medal. There are 4 checkpoints along the route that must be scanned to confirm participation.

Anyone can take part in the HIKE competition, but children under the age of 10 (born in 2016) must be accompanied by their parents.
